It makes no difference. Being rude and obnoxious whether in the real world or on the internet shows your true quality and colors as a person. And I must say, you've shown us yours pretty clearly, a pity really.

There's a big difference between standing up for one's self and being plain-out rude. You're the latter option in this instance.

If you believe that standing up for one's self involves this sort of juvenile behaviour, then I don't even have to say another word, you would have painted a pretty fair picture of yourself for all to see.

O.D.D.- it means I have trouble listening to others, especially adults, not because I didn't hear them (that's A.D.D.) but because I don't want to do what they told me to do. I have temper tantrums a lot, I'd say 3-4 times a week, but only at home (I'm almost 13). It means I don't know my place in authority, and often talks back and argues with adults. I'm not showing ALL signs of O.D.D (for example, I NEVER swear, I'm not depressed, and I never seek revenge) but I'm showing most of them...

How well do you know someone just by looking at their posts on an internet forum? Not very well.

I suggest you guys start re-thinking your phrases before you act or sooner or later we'll be seeing members leaving this site due to your unsightly behaviour. Leave the telling off to their parents, just because you are an adult (or act like one) does not give you those rights.

All I did was bring it full circle. Just like women argue that men have no place claiming knowledge about pregnancy and childbirth, she has no place claiming knowledge about good parenting.

Well you can't really say you know much about parenting until you've had kids. Ask any mother that and they will repeat that to you.

The point is, some people who ARE parents know even LESS about parenting than those who are not. Becoming a parent does not endow ANYONE with wisdom. And having your own kid is not a prerequisite to learning about parenting. Ideally, people learn a bit about child rearing BEFORE they begin, and continue the learning process with each child. Also, it does not taking being a mother for me to understand that raising a child is a serious painstaking commitment, and that being lazy about it can result in temper tantrum-throwing brats. Or to the point of this entire thread, the murder of said incompetent parents.

***Edit - Also, a lot of mothers don't do anything else with their lives, so they like everyone to think they're special.

Actually, that's exactly what it means. If you had good parents who had disciplined you, you wouldn't be acting the way you are. Plus, your parents would be monitoring your internet-access to make sure you aren't acting the way you are now. The lack of both points suggests, you have bad parents.
