There are tons of news reports about the recent protests and riots
in Oakland, CA over the shooting of an unarmed man by police officers.

Okay, Ra and I are totally back-and-forthing over this in mibbit right now. Not arguing, we're just ranting about holes in the justice system and idiot protesters who make their point in all the wrong ways. Granted, the suspect may have deserved the arrest, possibly even being tackled and cuffed, but KILLED? Never killed without a trial, unless they're in danger of killing someone else!

And protesters, goddamn that Nia chick is stupid! "This is going great!" and thinking it's okay to destroy civilians' property to prove a point to the police. No wonder they're being judged.

The responses are oput of hand and ridiculous. They are destroying the wrong thing... Well... The question of is destruction for any protest ever right is open. But this seems dumb.

The guy being fatally shot is also ridiculous and does not seem to be appropriate. He didn't look like he was doing anything to put the officers at risk. Now, I am a firm believer in multiple sides to every story. Maybe there is another side.
